The Story of a Table: The SETUP Freestyle Desk Never Stops. It moves between spaces as effortlessly as our roles shift throughout the day.
We all have our daily routines. In the morning we wake up, prepare breakfast, and head to work. In the evening we unwind with friends or family. And that is exactly the story behind a product from our latest furniture collection – the SETUP Freestyle desk, a symbol of flexible furniture designed to accompany you throughout the entire day.
The morning starts outdoors – on the grass behind the house or out on the terrace. Here, the desk becomes a simple breakfast station. Its birch plywood top, treated with hardwax oil, easily withstands everyday use as well as light outdoor conditions
The steel frame, built from tubes and box sections, is both sturdy and flexible, developed in collaboration with the Schwestern studio. Its surface finish was chosen to withstand the demands of everyday use while preserving its natural look.
In the afternoon, it’s time to move into the office. Thanks to lockable castors, the desk glides effortlessly from place to place. In the meeting room, it naturally joins the rhythm of the day: team discussions, brainstorming, sharing ideas. The cable tunnel beneath the top provides reliable access to power, while the LED strip comes in handy for late work sessions. Metal holders under the desk allow bar stools from the TAK collection to be neatly slid in, making movement and cleaning much easier.
The story of this desk is one of flexibility, durability, and a personal touch. Because in today’s world, it is more important than ever to have furniture that adapts to you.
As evening sets in, the atmosphere becomes more relaxed. On a company terrace or in a bar, the desk proves its worth during friendly gatherings. It serves as a solid base for drinks, refreshments, and informal conversations. A metal planter integrated into the top edge of the frame provides space not only for greenery or other creative decorations, but also for cabling and the transformer for lighting. Everything has been designed with practicality in mind: power runs through the tubular frame and leads back into the cable tunnel beneath the desktop.
Several of our colleagues – and even some of their children – bravely stepped in front of the camera for our recent photoshoot. The lead role went to Gábina, our long-time and much-loved sales representative, who handled the challenge perfectly. We owe her a big thank-you.
Staying true to our commitment to local roots, we chose locations close to our heart and our company. You can spot our showroom, the exterior of the popular 8smička gallery in Humpolec, and an orchard in the nearby village of Jiřice.
