The Open Space Concept in Practice: How We Approached the Showroom in Humpolec
1.3.2024
Timelessness, quality, and adaptability are the key attributes we carefully consider when designing interiors for our clients. We don’t limit ourselves to aesthetics alone. Instead, we view spaces as organic entities that constantly evolve and transform over time. This philosophy is at the heart of every project we take on, and through collaboration with renowned architectural studios, we’re able to bring it to life. One of our recent projects, the showroom at our headquarters in Humpolec, provided the perfect opportunity to illustrate these principles.

Variability and Diversity: Essential Elements for Creating a Dynamic Space.
When meeting with the architects, we had a clear vision — to create a space that not only showcases our products but also has its own dynamic character. We wanted the showroom to be flexible and playful, easily adapting to specific events such as client meetings, workshops, or lectures. A key aspect in designing this space was its diversity. We believe that the surrounding work environment is crucial for supporting productivity and creativity, which is why we created various nooks in the showroom that provide both privacy for individuals and space for team collaboration.

Movement: A Key Element of an Innovative and Adaptive Workspace
Throughout the showroom, a unifying element stands out—movement. The newly introduced products include a mobile high table, a rolling partition wall with an integrated TV and bulletin board on one side and a whiteboard on the other, and a striking red meeting pod, which employees can use for client meetings or simply to change their working environment. The showroom’s furnishings also feature proven pieces from the TAK collection, rooted in traditional carpentry craftsmanship. These timeless staples include meeting tables, benches, shelving systems, and rebar coat racks.

The furniture throughout the administrative spaces was designed to encourage movement among our employees and to offer them a variety of nooks they can use for work, both online and offline meetings, or simply for relaxation.
